Rules 

1. Entrants need to be members of Accredited Chambers of Commerce. For a list of UK Accredited Chambers click here.

2. Entries are treated in confidence.

3. All entries must be electronic.

4. Supporting information (other than financial tables and graphs) is not permitted unless it forms part of the entry document, e.g. testimonials. Supplementary information may be requested at national judging level.

5. Entrants may be asked for staff or customer care testimonials.

6. Entries will be judged in two stages by an independent and impartial panel of judges. The initial stage will be a regional judging panel from which the winners will be put forward to national judging.

7. National award winners will be announced at The Awards Gala Dinner on 23rd November 2006.

8. Entry to more than one category is allowed.

9. Applicants must be authorised to enter their organisation into the awards programme.

10. Entries should be in English and produced using a word processor. All entries must be checked for spelling and grammar.

11. Incomplete entries will not be judged.

12. All entries will be acknowledged on receipt. Entry forms will become the property of The British Chambers of Commerce and entries will not be returned.

13. Proof of sending entry (by email) is not proof of receipt by BCC or its agents

14. Winning entries will be publicised. Applicants are responsible for making appropriate arrangements to protect any intellectual property associated with their application. Winners may be requested to participate in post event publicity.

15. The organisers reserve the right to withdraw an award from any applicant supplying false information within their entry. Judges reserve the right to audit any information supplied.

16. The £25,000 cash prize for the outstanding achievement of the year will be paid directly to the entrant’s business and not to any individual.

17. The closing date for entries is 26th June 2006.

18. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

19. No employee of BCC or Chambers of Commerce shall be entitled to enter.

20. By registering and completing an entry for the awards you agree to these terms and conditions.
