Excellence Award for Networking
Does your Chamber have an innovative networking strategy? Do you provide fresh and innovative networking opportunities for Members in your area? If so, enter this award by demonstrating your successes and the impact that these events have had on your Members and your Chamber.
Meeting the Skills Development Agenda
If your Chamber has been particularly successful in meeting the needs of local employers and their workforces, then this is the award for you. Take this opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of the employment landscape within your region, what you have done to address the situation and how it has impacted your local area.
Excellence in International Trade Services New for 2005!
This award is designed to recognise the support that Chambers provide members for international trade efforts. This can be demonstrated through practical support such as seminars and training, recruitment and development of Chamber staff who can provide sound advice and support to Members, and providing access to other Chambers in the UK, Europe and beyond.
Chamber of the Year
This award will be given to the Chamber that demonstrates excellence across all core areas. So if you feel that you are the worthy of the Chamber of the Year title and can demonstrate good competitive advantage, then get entering! The judging of this award will review accreditation inspection reports, Network participation on a local, regional and national basis, membership levels and strategies for member recruitment & retention.
Best Use of Technology
Do you feel that your Chamber is technologically advanced, or have you recently implemented new technology to address a particular issue? This award will look at the impact that this technology has had on all aspects of the Chamber's activities.
Most Effective Campaigning New for 2005!
Have you ever implemented a policy campaign that you thought was 'award winning'? Well this is your chance to be rewarded for your efforts! The judges will be looking at the background to the selection of the campaign, the objectives, the impact of the campaign and future plans.

The Chamber categories of the Chamber Awards 2005 will be judged nationally by an independent panel of business people and the winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner on Thursday November 24th, 2005.
The panel will be chaired by Professor Stephen Hagen, director of the Mercia Institute of Enterprise.
